Effective Date: 19 March, 2024This Privacy Policy explains how eHeads ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with our events, in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines. This policy applies to all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and other individuals who interact with us in relation to our events (collectively, "you").
Notice of Incorporation Status
Please note that eHeads is currently in the process of incorporation. Our privacy practices are being developed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and this policy will be updated upon completion of our incorporation.
1. Information We Collect
Registration Information: When you
register for an event, we collect information such as your name, email
address, company affiliation, job title, address, phone number,
payment information (if applicable), and dietary restrictions or
accessibility needs.
Event Participation: We may collect
information about your participation in our events, including sessions
attended, exhibitors visited, surveys completed, or networking
activities.
Communications: We may retain records
of communications with you, such as emails, support requests, or
feedback you provide.
Device and Usage Data: We might
automatically collect information about your device (e.g., IP address,
device type, operating system) and how you use our websites or event
platforms.

Managing Events: We use your information to process your registration,
provide access to event resources, facilitate communication, and
personalize your event experience.
Communication: To send you information about our events, updates, and
relevant offers, with clear opportunities for you to opt-out.
Improving our Services: To analyze usage patterns, understand how to
improve our events and offerings, and provide better customer service.
Security and Compliance: To secure our systems, protect against
unauthorized access or use, and comply with legal or regulatory
obligations.

Event Partners: With sponsors or exhibitors you interact with, with
your explicit consent.
Service Providers: With vendors who provide services on our behalf,
(e.g., event platforms, marketing agencies) with contracts ensuring
compliance with the DPA.
Legal Purposes: If required by law, court order, or to protect our
rights or the rights of others.
Business Transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or
asset sale, your information may be transferred, with prior notice and
options given regarding your data.
4. Data Security
We maintain safeguards to protect your information, in line with DPA requirements. We will notify you and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) promptly in case of a data breach.

Access and Correction: You have the right to request access to the
information we hold about you and to request corrections.
Marketing Opt-Out: You can opt out of marketing communications at any
time.
Data Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your
information in certain circumstances.
Right to file a Complaint: You have the right to file a complaint with
the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data privacy
rights have been violated.
6. International Transfers
We may transfer and process your information in countries other than your own. We will use appropriate safeguards recognized under the DPA for these transfers.
7. Children's Privacy
Our events are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy or through other means.
