About
The eHeads story
Advance the practice of software engineering leadership through knowledge sharing, collaborative problem-solving, and community contributions.
eHeads was started by Jesse Panganiban and Glenn Santos in August 2022, as a way for engineering leaders to connect at a time when tech teams were siloed from each other by remote work.
The first meetup was one table at a restaurant. The goal was simply to meet each other and a few friends who were also in tech management. It quickly grew into the best-known engineering leadership event in the local technology community, filling office floors at companies like AWS, Google, Angkas and Ascendion.
Today eHeads is a volunteer-run fellowship. We believe leadership is a craft, and we get better at it together through stories, shared wisdom and honest dialogue.

What you get
Why engineering leaders join
Learn to build high-performing teams
Engineering leaders are often asked to do more with less. Through talks and fellowship, members learn from people who have already navigated the known and unknown problems.
Brainstorm solutions to your team's challenges
Almost every problem in tech is unique to its organization. Talking it through with another engineering leader gets things done faster and better.
Get help transitioning into leadership
Moving into leadership is often a career change for an engineer. Through mentorship and one-on-ones, we help new leaders get what they need to succeed.
